Levigator Spiralgraph:
Drawings and Prints

The levigator, a heavy steel disk used for erasing images off a stone, became my next model for a drawing tool. While erasing an image on the lithography stone, I was intrigued by the temporary trace of grinding powder it left spiraling behind. Subsequently, I created three rotating gears equipped with their own brushes and wheels for drawing. Their dimensions and pivot points reference back to the three plexiglass plates in Driftwood Series.
